About Dr. Shatnawi
Dr. Mohammad Shatnawi
Oculoplastic Surgeon & Ophthalmologist
Dr. Mohammad Shatnawi is an oculoplastic surgeon specializing in the eyelids, tear ducts, and orbit — the delicate structures where restoring function and preserving a natural appearance have to be solved together, not traded off against each other.
His training took him from general ophthalmology through a full ophthalmology residency to a dedicated oculoplastic fellowship at Cairo University, one of the region's leading centers for eyelid, lacrimal, and orbital reconstruction. That path shows in how he works: a precise diagnosis first, a plainly explained plan second, and surgery only once a patient understands exactly what to expect.
He currently practices as an oculoplastic ophthalmologist with the Jordanian Ministry of Health, and continues to publish clear, patient-facing explanations of the procedures he performs so every patient arrives at their first visit already informed.
