What I treat
Transconjunctival Lower Blepharoplasty
Transconjunctival Lower Blepharoplasty is a surgical technique used to treat under-eye fat bulging through an incision on the inner surface of the lower eyelid, without an external skin incision. It is particularly suitable for patients whose main concern is prominent under-eye fat and who have relatively good skin elasticity with minimal excess skin.

Who it's for
This procedure is suitable for patients with under-eye fat bulging who have relatively good skin elasticity and no significant excess skin that needs to be removed. It is also a good option for patients who prefer a procedure without an external skin incision or a visible scar on the lower eyelid.
What to expect
The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia, with or without sedation, or under general anesthesia, depending on the patient’s needs. During surgery, a small incision is made on the inner surface of the lower eyelid to reach the fat beneath the eyes. The fat can then be carefully removed or repositioned, depending on the patient’s needs. Since the incision is made inside the eyelid, there is no external skin incision or visible scar. One of the main advantages of this technique is that it preserves the skin and the muscle of the eyelid. Some patients may also experience less swelling and bruising compared with surgery performed through the skin. However, this technique does not directly remove excess skin.
